IPS e.max and IDL

Driving Image Dental Laboratory's technical team is a philosophy that inspires the pursuit and achievement of excellence. Not surprisingly, the laboratory technicians at lDL collectively share many years of knowledge, a commitment to continuing education, and a passion for maintaining the highest standard in the industry. Our motivation is fueled through participation in hands-on courses, training and the integration of innovative materials like IPS e.max.

Although there are many different all-ceramic systems available today, Image Dental Laboratory is pleased to offer our doctors such clinically proven restorative alternatives as IPS e.max lithium disilicate. IDL's technicians are well versed at using this system to fabricate reliable restorations that exhibit exceptional esthetics, even when cases demand multiple complex restorations.

What is IPS e.max Press

IPS e.max Press are biocompatible lithium disilicate glass-ceramic ingots. A complete ceramic system designed to provide metal-free solutions for most indications. They offer the fit, form and function which is expected from pressed ceramics. In addition, they offer improved flexural strength (400 MPa). When fabricated to full-contour, the monolithic structure is the most robust ceramic system tested to date. The opalescence, translucency and light diffusion properties of IPS e.max lithium disilicate were all designed to replicate natural tooth structure for beauty and undetectable restorations. E.max is the only lithium disilicate ceramic in dentistry today.
